EV charger on the brick wall of a modern timber-clad home

Domestic electrical

Home electrics, done properly and certified.

Consumer units, extra circuits, landlord certificates and fault finding across Dorset, Hampshire and the surrounding counties. NAPIT-registered electricians who also install solar, batteries and chargers, so the wiring is ready for whatever comes next.

Most asked for

The three jobs we quote every week.

And the rest

Everyday electrical work, done to certificate.

  • Full and partial rewires

Older homes, extensions and renovations, planned around the plasterer and the decorator.

  • Fault finding

Tripping breakers, dead circuits, flickering lights: diagnosed properly rather than reset and hoped for.

  • Lighting

Downlights, outdoor and garden lighting, dimming and smart switching.

  • Showers, cookers and hobs

Dedicated circuits sized for the appliance, with the isolator where you can reach it.

  • Garages, outbuildings and garden offices

Armoured supplies, small consumer units and the sockets and lights to go with them.

  • Certificates every time

Part P self-certification through NAPIT, so building control and your insurer get the right paperwork.

Ready for renewables

The wiring around solar, batteries and chargers.

Because the same team installs the kit, the electrical work is planned for it: the right board, the right isolators and the cable routes in before the plaster goes on.

Small power and new circuits

Extra sockets, a cooker circuit, power to the garden office or a new machine in the workshop. Small jobs are still notifiable work with certificates, and they are the jobs most people call an electrician for. Many can be priced from photos and done in a day; anything that needs a cable route planned gets a site survey first.

  • Sockets and spurs
  • Cooker, hob and shower circuits
  • Outdoor and outbuildings

EV charging and solar integration

Adding an EV charger, solar and a battery one at a time, with different installers, is how supplies end up overloaded and warranties end up void. We design the electrical side of all of them together so the supply, protection and controls work as a system.

  • Supply assessment
  • Load management
  • Solar and battery electrics

Smart home

A smart home works when the wiring, the network and the control system are planned together. We do the electrical and data infrastructure during the rewire or renovation, and work with specialist smart-home partners for the control system and programming, so you get one coordinated result.

  • Lighting control
  • Heating and energy
  • Blinds and AV

How a job runs

Three steps, one electrician start to finish.

  1. Step 1: Tell us the job

Small jobs like sockets or a consumer unit we can price from photos. Rewires, extensions and anything bigger get a free site survey first.

  2. Step 2: Fixed price

A written quote that includes testing, the certificate and Part P notification. No day rates.

  3. Step 3: Done and certified

Our own NAPIT-registered electricians do the work, tidy up, and email you the certificate.

Good to know

Domestic electrical questions.

Do you do small jobs?

Yes. Extra sockets, a new cooker circuit or a consumer unit are everyday work for us. Small jobs can often be priced from photos; anything bigger gets a site survey.

How much is a consumer unit upgrade?

Typically £650 to £950 for a full RCBO board with surge protection, including testing, the Electrical Installation Certificate and Part P notification. Quoted exactly after seeing the board.

How long does an EICR take?

Two to three hours for a typical three-bedroom house. Power is off in short bursts while circuits are tested, and you get the report by email the same day.

Will I need to be in?

Someone needs to let us in and the power will be off for part of the day on a consumer unit change or rewire. For sockets and lighting we can usually keep the rest of the house running.

Are you NAPIT registered?

Yes. Every notifiable job is self-certified under Part P and you receive the certificate by email.
