Solar only
Panels now, battery whenever you're ready.
Solar on its own still cuts the bill sharply if you use power during the day. We design every array battery-ready, so storage is a bolt-on later rather than a rebuild.
Why solar only
Lower entry cost, same roof, same team.
Battery-ready from day one
We specify a hybrid inverter and leave the cabling and space so a battery can be added later without redoing anything.
Right if you use power in the day
Home offices, heat pumps, pool pumps and daytime EV charging all use solar as it is made, so a battery adds less.
Export payments set up
Being MCS certified means you qualify for Smart Export Guarantee payments. We help you pick the best export tariff.

Good to know
Solar-only questions.
Can I add a battery later?
Yes. Every solar-only system we fit is designed battery-ready. Adding a Tesla Powerwall 3 later is a half-day job with no changes to the panels.
How many panels do I need?
It depends on roof space and usage. Most Dorset homes take eight to fourteen panels. The drone survey shows exactly what fits and what it will generate.
What does solar only cost?
Typically £5,000 to £8,000 installed for a domestic system without a battery, including scaffolding and certification. Your quote is itemised from the survey.
