How much does a Tesla Powerwall 3 cost installed?
A single Powerwall 3 with the Backup Gateway, installed and commissioned, is typically £7,500 with no solar. Expansion packs are £3,250 each. Adding solar at the same time is quoted on a single design.
Can I add Powerwall 3 to solar I already have?
Yes. Powerwall 3 can be AC-coupled to an existing solar system, or your existing panels can be re-wired into its built-in inverter, which often improves performance.
Does it work in a power cut?
Yes. With the Backup Gateway fitted, Powerwall detects an outage and takes over within milliseconds. Paired with solar it can keep recharging during the day.
